Waldorf Support Group Having Dr. Harrington To Speak

hi everyone...  The Tri-County WLS Group meeting in waldorf will be having dr. harrington, bariatric surgeon, speaking on september 19th.  A number of us still have questions if we're post-op and many more questions if we're pre-op.  Everyone is welcome to attend.  Doors open at 6:30 PM and meeting starts at 7 PM.  Also, I plan on having a product to show (a great aerosol.... most of us need.. if ya know what i'm talking about....lol).   Please try to make it... if you need directions, just lemme know....  Kay B.

hi ellie... if you are familiar with waldorf, our meetings take place at the Southern Md. Electric Coop (SMECO) Building in White Plains, Maryland, 4415 Crain Hwy.  we meet every 3rd Wednesday, doors open at 6:30 PM and meeting begins at 7 PM.  i'm very excited that dr. harrington will be speaking to our group.  he's come quite a number of times, and he's sorta our "resident" bariatric doctor.  Please try to make it... you won't be sorry. kay

hi jennifer... in the past, dr. harrington has talked about a myriad of issues, including different bariatric procedures... he usually opens the meeting with questions and answers.  if you're there... and you remind me... i'll ask the question for you... or you can ask it yourself.  he's very personable and down-to-earth. yes, we meet every 3rd wednesday of the month, SMECO building in white plains.  please join us... he usually just comes once a year, so if you miss this meeting, he might not be back for some time.  (there was one occasion that he did return the next month's meeting... but i can't guarantee that...) kay

i've noticed a number of posts about spousal support during this bariatric journey... just remember most support groups welcome the spouses (including our support group)... and it's usually very important that they understand what's goin' on during this journey, as well as how much the group appreciates their efforts.  please tell your spouse to come with you to the support group meetings. kay
