Way to go Ted! Keep working on the pre-surgical diet! Remember what I told you! :-) I am going to need a running buddy next year...so now you are on the hook for it. Hope you like marathons! (just kidding). If you need anything as your date approaches, certainly let me know. Congrats!

We're scheduled for surgery the same day....except that I'm having an abdominoplasty...so even though we're at different phases of our WLS journey...I'm sharing your excitement and anticipation. Be sure to follow YOUR surgeon's advise and instructions...each doctor is different. September 10 will be here before you know it! Hey and congrats on being a cancer survivor...man you're a tuff cookie

CONGRATS Ted!!!!! Uh oh, am I posting too much? Did I jinx myself??? I just can't stop talking! I hope that in another 6 weeks or so, I can post the same thing you just did. I have one more month of supervised weight loss, and then they will submit for approval.

Hi Ted, and welcome to the Maryland Board! We're a great group of people and I promise that we'll do all we can to help you. The first six weeks post-op are the worst, and even then, they're not bad, but after that, you'll be running down the street, I promise. We always welcome new folks to the board, particularly men, particularly single men - are you single? and if you're not, you DO have single friends, don't you???? hehehehe!!!
