Yes, really.   I've been on vacation and haven't picked up my mail yet, but Alice at Dr. S's office called this morning.  Surgery is October 9th. This is really exciting and a little miraculous.  I didn't have a 6-month history, and Dr. S thought I'd have to fight it.  But, I did some research on OH and found that some insurance companies do waive the 6-month requirement if you can otherwise document a long dieting history.  We sent 5 years worth of PCP records and a 25-year diet history I'd cobbled up for Dr. S.  My shrink sent a really great letter, too. Yayyyyy God!  I've prayed a lot about this, specifically for Him to show me if it's really for me.
