Thank you sweetie for the sweet words.  As for hubby being out all week he was definitely a big baby. lol IWhen I get sick I am still up taking care of the kids, home and whatever.  Don't get me wrong he tried to help me a few times and like 5 minutes later I would say where did Gino go? and my kids would say daddy is sleeping in bed. lol  ahhhhhhhhhhh  I was like dang if I only could do that too!  lol  I am looking forward to just laying around the long weekend doing nothing, It is actually better than going on a trip with the kids in the car, morning sickness and stuff.   I am actually looking forward to veg out. Did you get my card? Are you coming? Take care and I hope you get the glasses adjusted soon. Hugs

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

Hey Mo, Hopefully, you will get good news at the urologist on Friday. I finally had to have the stent put in on August 10. I had another lithotripsy last Wednesday. I will have my follow up KUB and appointment on Sept. 6. I hope you have a great week and an even better weekend.  Wanda

Thanks Wanda, I've not had ANY pain since the attack in April, except for the discomfort of the stent the 4 weeks that I had that dang thing.   The last follow up appointment on 7/20 they couldn't 'see' anything so there was no telling if there were still fragments or not.   This week I am going to try to stick to light foods and liquids Wed eve through Friday a.m. so that things may be a bit more clear and they can see what is there. I've gone back to all of my supplements, including 1500 mg calcium daily, since the last appointment.   She wanted me back on everything and probably next I will be scheduled for a full blood work up and a 24 hour urine screening test ... neither of which I have had before. I would do the lithotripsy again in a heartbeat if needed, but I'll be danged if they are going to get another stent in me!!!   Of course, the doc *****moved the stent said that if I ended up in the ER again I would probably be in the OR having a cystoscopy and they would get the stones that way  ... I told him I would take my chances!!! Hope you are feeling better with your stones.  Mine are really ok, unless they start to move .. then WATCH out ... Hugs, Mo

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... Hey Mo! Glad to hear things are going well and you're back in the groove at the gym.  I've been so busy with so much other stuff in my life that I have not had time.  I know, I know...priorities.   It's been so busy here at work (and home) that I have not had a chance to log in here.  I just popped in here and thought I'd reply and say "hi".  Then I saw Tia's post about Molly and had to answer her earlier reply to you.  Maybe I'll win mega millions tomorrow night and I can stay home all day and just post to OH....hehe. Have a good one!

Take Care,
Terry

Terry, Don't ever think that you are making excuses for lack of going to the gym!  It's not like you are sitting home eating bon bons  ... You are a busy lady!!!   I have no life (well, almost no life sometimes ...) so I have time for the gym .. but only at the ungodly hour of 4:45 a.m.   I don't go at that hour to brag or be a martyr, it's just the time that works for me. Other people have kids and/or family priorities that take precedence, I don't have those things in my life. Anyway, I'm sooooo proud of you and what you have accomplished and the way you posted your daily gym routine was what got me off my butt and going myself. Hugs, Mo

Hi Mo! Good Monday to you too! At least it looks like the sun will be out this week. The rain made last week so dreary and tiresome. Of course, this week, even with the sun, the kids will make me tiresome getting ready for 'back to school'. What trips do you have planned after the software excursion? We're thinking abouttrying the Bermuda trip leaving out of Baltimore next year. I'm still on thefence though. Cruises are nice, but sometimes I just like to get there. Cruises don't always give enough time to enjoy the different scenes around town. I was so sorry to hear about Tia's dog. We recently (6 mos. ago) got another dog after I swore I wouldn't because I didn't want to go through the heartbreak again. But my girls prevailed. He's always on my lap; he's a Bichon the girls named Courage (he has none whatsoever). My other two dogs (Rocky and Apollo) died about six years and eight years ago. But he certainly keeps me company, agrees with my point of view, and always takes my side. Keep up the good work with the gym in the mornings. You're my hero! I wish I could into that kind of groove. I hoping after the girls get settled in school, and we get the new schedule down pat, I'll be able to MAINTAIN A STEADY EXERCISE PROGRAM. Oh well, time to get ready for tomorrow! Take care ~~ Trish

Hi Trish, We are RV-ers and NASCAR fans so we combine the two passions and go to the Charlotte race(s) in both May and October with the RV.   Other than some 'family' events which involved flying or driving out of town we haven't gone on a vacation that hasn't involved the RV in almost 10 years.   We are just a little under 4 1/2 years from retirement and will be doing a lot of RV travel then.   We say 'full-time' but we won't be true full-timers because I don't believe we could give up everything land based and just have the RV as our home but we are going to spend some major time on the road. I've always wanted to do a cruise.   When we lived in Connecticut we did a couple of the schooner cruises (tall ship).  One in Maine and the other out of Mystic CT.  Those were fun, but I'm ready to try the cruise ship thing.     My sister recently got a Bichon.  I've not met Lola in person yet (she's in CT), but I've seen pictures and she is adorable!   I saw a combo Bichon/Poodle at Today's Pet at the mall on Sunday ...  I'm tempted, but we are cat people .. and right now really don't have time for a dog.  Maybe once we are retired and on the road .... lol. Hugs, Mo
