Thanks, Wanda.  Molly is the 3rd dog we've had in 40 years, and you're right, it's not gotten any easier.  But she was special, my fluffy baby.  I know it'll get better in time, but right now, it's like someone did open heart surgery without anesthesia!!! Tia

Sorry for your loss!  Here's a big hug!!  All of our animals are getting old.  Have recently been wondering/thinking about how hard it will hit our family when they start to pass away.  Tiger (cat) is eleven.  Crystal (dog) and Snowbell (cat) are 10.  Twister (dog) we believe might be close to 10.  Ginger the guinea pig is the youngest at 2.  What a zoo!  They certainly enrich our lives.  TraciL

Thanks, Traci!  Molly was truly one of our family - in fact, I would much rather have seen my ex-husband put down!!!   Tia

Tia, I have tears as I read this.  I love my two girls, Apache Pup and Cheyenne Autumn.  Apache is 12 now and slowing down.  I cry just thinking about losing her.  She is my bestest friend forever! What a wimp I am.  But I truly understand. Remember the movie "All Dogs Go to Heaven"?  I believe they do. Take care, April

Thanks, April - from one wimp to another.  But I wouldn't have it any other way.  Molly was such a huge part of my life, and I still keep expecting to see her on the front porch, waiting for me to get home, happy as a lark, and sniffing all the grocery bags to see if I bought treats (which I usually had!).  I'll have wonderful memories of her. I am so sorry about your Molly. I am still mourning the loss of my old cat Kharmin. I had to put him down as well. It is so hard to do what is right sometimes. Hugs to you sweetie.

Thanks, Aime.  I think the fact that it was so quick just slammed us.  It was bad enough losing her, but to have it happen seemingly overnight was just devastating.  I'm waiting for the vet to call us to pick up her ashes and the pawprint they made for us.  They were wonderfully compassionate, which doesn't make me feel a darn bit better. Hi Mo, Glad you had a great weekend.  I spent mine home with my kids.  Gino finally went back to work after being out sick for an entire week.  Last week 1/2 was the the pits.  Little Gino with 105 fever tonsilitis and everything going on here.   I am surprised I didn't catch the crud.  I kept feeling the symptoms but nothing came about.  I guess since I am taking all these vitamins and supplements it helped.    I need to go to get new glasses too.  I lost mine a few years ago and I have been bad enough to never go back. I have gret insurance so my excuse being lazy.   ughhh  Gino went like three weeks ago and got two pairs.  He works for Verizon so he is entitled for 2 pairs one for the computer and the other for everyday use.   As for me well I am doing pretty good hanging in there. I haven't been exercising for a few weeks I had no energy to spare and the nausea was kicking my behind.  But I think I might be turning the corner now since tomorrow I turn 11 weeks tomorrow so I am almost out of this trimester.    I am keeping up with my protein and vitami intake it is the fluids part that I am still struggling with.    We were planning to go to NY for the long weekend since Gino is off Fri-Mon  but I don't think we will be going,   So we will just stay home barbecue and play in the backyard pool with our kids and watch movies.   I hope you have a wonderful week.   Hugs,

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

Cira, I am in such awe of you with the kids to begin with .. and then to be taking care of a sick kid... I couldn't do it for sure!   And poor Gino being sick.  I know what a wuss Mr Mo is when he's sick ..and he's never been sick for a week .. I'm not sure whether he's a wuss or I'm just a bad nurse. I am getting used to the new glasses.  It's a slightly different prescription and the lens size is a little larger than the old even tho the frame style is the same so there's an adjustment period with them.   I may have to go back and have them tightened up though because they seem to slide on my face a bit. It's too bad you can't get away this weekend.   I've been looking forward to this weekend all summer since we really haven't gotten away except the one overnight since we came back in May.   We leave for Boston on the 9th (I have a software conference and Mr Mo is going with****il the 12th, then I'll be on the countdown for our trip in October.   We leave the 7th and come back the 15th.   Then it may be a LONG stretch until we go away in May again .. but I'm sure I'll find some little trips in there. Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!
