Good morning Everyone! I hope everyone is feeling good and looking forward to the weekend! I have two young daughters (9 & 10), so I will be doing some school shopping. My girls do back to school after Labor Day. This summer went by so fast; of course, as I get older, every day seems to go by fast! Everything is going well with my post surgery; I've lost another pound this week, but it has been kinda slow the past two weeks. With all of the walking I will be doing in the malls today, hopefully that will help kick it into gear. Have a great day! Keep positive! ~~Trish

Good morning Trish! I've been awake for a couple of hours, but still feeling sluggish.   Hoping a shower will revive me.   I don't have much planned for today.   Mr Mo had to go work for a couple of hours.   I need to go to Sam's or BJ's and get Prilosec.   I'm completely OUT and when I was at Sam's on Wednesday they were completely out also!    I hate the idea of driving across the Severn River to Sam's and finding they are still out, so I might just drive up Ritchie Hwy to BJ's instead. I'm still working on the quilt.   I've got the top almost finished.  It's long enough top to bottom, but I need to finish the top and bottom, then make the sides longer.   I think I'll try to get the top finished this week, then take the backing and batting next weekend and get my sister to help me put it together while we are camping.   I'll have a huge open floor to spread it out on in the RV when we extend the slides.    I still haven't a clue as to how I'm going to get it actually quilted.   I need to call the Vac 'N Sew place in Severna Park and see if they will take a look at the Kenmore sewing machine and fix its problem for me, because I know that the Featherweight is definitely not going to work for the quilting part! Enjoy your shopping excursion!   We never had children, so I have been blissfully ignorant of having to do all that school stuff!   Of course, I'm always up for a trip to the mall to shop though,. Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

I was up at 6:00am myself and went to Target when they opened to finish school shopping.  It is going to be so hot today.  Me and Gabriella are going to send the day at the pool.  Today is there back to school party so she is exited about that.  She is starting First grade this monday, WOW ! time flies so fast.  Enjoy your day! Hugs Kristen

Hi Trish, I hope you had a great day shopping. I went out for a little bit and got really sick with the heat.  I had to go back home because I was really dizzy and nauseous.    I m glad to hear that everything is going well with you.   Hugs,

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

Morning. I spent the day in the heat. Boy, did it wipe me out. My neighborhood had it's first festival and flea market yesterday. Despite the heat, it was nice. I was able to get rid of some of my clothes I'm not able to wear anymore. The rest are going straight to a donation facility.
