2 days out. Trying to define the feeling
When I drink my ounce at a time. I am trying to define full from just unconfortable. I doesn't last long. I haven't tried cold, except my protein, and that felt fine. Broth felt fine. I am going to try my favorite popsicle. Still no gas except belching, but did have a bm when I got home.
Any advice.I have walked in the house.
When healing occurs and nerves are once again working, and signals are reaching the brain, the full feeling will come. I think your doing 100% right in keeping to a measured amount. You don't want to overwork that new pouch. Keep up the good work, keep on walking, expel all the gas you want, and keep us updated on your continued recovery. Welcome to the loser's side!

Congrats to you and welcome to the Loser's Bench.
I have to tell you that when I finially tried "cold," it was awesome! Please don't wait as long as I did. I fould that cold (Sugar Free) popsicles were comepletely awesome my first two weeks. They count as liquids (at least by my surgeon) and I was eating probably 4-5 per day. I didn't think life could get any better and then I discovered SF fudgesicles!! I'm no choco-holic but I sure do like them and they are on my surgeon's list too. The best part is if you can find the Shur Fine brand, they come complete with 2 grams of prrotein!! I have looked at other brands but they usually only have 1 gram of protein.
