WE Have Lost One of Our Own
Dear Friends,
I bought the Carroll County Times news paper on my way to work and on the front page was a picture of their receptionist Peggy Villeila. Peggy passed yesterday at her home as a result of WLS article said that they thought it was a blood clot, she had been on med's for problems with her heart. I do not know Peggy she had her surgery at Sinai Hospital. Please join me in lifting up her family
Peggy was 62 years old

Gail,
When I was getting close to ending my supervised visits I stumbled accross the memorials in the OH site and I freaked out and cried a lot. But soon I knew I had made peace with my decision and with the help of my OH friends I survived that stage of fear. By the time I went in for surgery I was not nervous until I was in the surgery room and by that time i think i was only up for a few minutes. lol
You are going to do great!
I am here for you if you need to talk.
Hugs,
I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

Not the kind of news I want to hear as I prepare for surgery. I've been told, however, that blood clots can be a complication from any kind of surgery. We had a family friend pass away two days after surgery on her liver from a clot.
She sounds like she was a wonderful lady that will be missed by many. The story can be found here - http://www.carrollcounty.com/articles/2007/08/24/news/local_ news/newsstory5.txt
My prayers go out to her family.
