New to Maryland

Hi to you all.    My name is Ellie and I am 19 months out . I am looking for support groups in the Waldorf area. could someone help me. I think I really should go to some meeting so I can meet some people that are in the same boat. Thanks and hope to visit you all here.

Welcome to MD Ellie.  I can't help you answer your question, sorry. I took a peek at your profile, and WOW what a transformation.  I hope you feel as great as you look.  I hope I look 1/2 as good 19 months after my surgery.  Congrats!

hi there theres a bunch of us going to princefrederick rubytuesdays on sat if you would like to come... its at 1.00 and its under michelle. just lrt me no. also i go 2 a suport group in white plaines at the smetco building every 3 wed of the mo. so does eric. i met him last time. i hope that helps and hope to see you.

Thanks for the info. Guess I missed it this month. But I will be there in september. As far a princefredreick I guess I need to find out where that is. Not sure If I will be making that. I will let you know. Ellie

I'm not scheduled yet.  Insurance requires 3 months and I have 1 more to go. I'm done with all the other requirements.  If things go as planned, surgery will be in mid to late November.
