I was just wondering if anyone had a juice they like better after surgery.  My doctor calls the first three days home, "The juice party" and then no juice.  just juice and water mixed.  So I got 100% apple and grape juice, any other good ideas? I have am sick with congestion and fever, this is sucking.  I am too have surgery on Sept 10th and need to get better fast.  My parents were  here from out of town and my younger sister got me sick.  My primary care doctor put me on Avalox and she said this should kick it out.  I feel like crap!

I'm so sorry you're not feeling well. I think summer colds are the worst. I love the Shoppers brand (I forget what they call it) of apple and grape juice that is made with Splenda. They say it is 75% less sugar and 40% less calories.  That isn't even the reasons that I like it.  I like it because it is lighter than other juices.  I find juice too heavy to drink for more than a small glass once in awhile.  I tend to water all my juices down, except V-8.  You might also try Mots for Tots, which is water and juice mixed, with no sugar added.  It comes in small juice boxes that are just right for toddlers, lol. So, at least you'll have smaller servings.  I also make myself Kool-aid with Splenda.  I use a gallon jug instead of the 2 quart that they recommend and use 2/3 of a cup of Splenda for each gallon I make.  Can you tell I like my drinks watered down?  I haven't seen what my after surgery diet is going to look like yet.  I'm sure it will be juice as well. Well, get well soon!
Hugs!

I'm liking the Ocean Spray Lite Cran-Grape and Cran-Rasberry.  I don't so much water it down as I just add a lot of ice and let it melt for a while before I start sipping it.
