Great job Eric!  Keep up the good work!  Don't you feel like a new person?  I notice different changes about myself everyday -- physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Take care ~~  Trish

OMG...52-53 lbs already. You are doing so wonderful. Love to hear how well people are doing so soon after surgery. It gives me hope and takes away some anxiety.

Don't forget that 20 was pre-op so it's not quite as good as you think.  I has nmade a big difference in the clothes I wear, though.

Keep in mind it's not a walk in the park.  My doc says I can't drink for an hour after a meal.  Usually about 20 mins after eating I start getting dry-mouthed and want a drink so bad it starts getting to me.  I haven't once even thought of cheating but that does seem to be the worst part for me.

Eric, I'm glad to hear you're doing so well!  Congratulations and keep it up! I wouldn't worry too much about not drinking with your meals.  I thought I would have a really hard time with that because pre-op, I always drank with meals.  Well at first you know how small the pouch is and you really have trouble eating/drinking at the same time.  I just took advantage of the pouch rules and got myself out of the habit of drinking with my meals and I haven't looked back.  I don't even think about it anymore.  As a habit, if I'm out at a restaurant I'll ge****er and sometimes if my mouth is dry I'll have a few sips, but other than that, I do not eat and drink at the same time and it's never been an issue for me.  Anyway, just my two cents. Keep up the great work!

Take Care,
Terry
