WLS all done yeaaaaaaaaaaa!!
Hi. I had the DS on Tuesday Aug 14 and was discharged from the hospital on Thursday Aug 16. I am staying in a hotel in White Marsh until Aug 28. Monday the home health nurse is coming to. Visit and in Tuesday I get my 2 JP drains out. Then on the 27 I see Dr S for my 2 week check up. So far so good. My experience at Bayview was outstanding and Dr S and his team are top notch. I am glad to be on the losers bench and thank God it went so smoothly. Thank you so much for all our prayers and good wishes. They were very much appreciated. Jo

Yeaaaaaaa Jo! As soon as I got back from OC, I came to see if anyone posted any info on you. I am so glad everything went well. When I went for my check-up wieth Dr. S on the 13th, I told him to take good care of you the next day. He said absolutely! He is a really great surgeon. Also, since I got back from the ocean I noticed that I am now in Onederland!! Yeaaa!! I did a good bit of walking on the boardwalk. I don't know if you feel up to it, but if you want avisitor anytime this week, feel free to drop a line. White Marsh is about 5 minutes from my office. I have Court tomorrow, but may be able to stop by later this week.

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
