Hey Everybody! Just wanted to say Thank God It's Friday!!!!   So what does everybody have planned for the weekend?  I'll probably wind up working some and getting ready for McSweetie to come home from vacation...man, two weeks is too darn long!!   Monday evening we're supposed to be going to the Orioles game....it should be fun (then again, I'd have fun sitting there watching paint dry as long as McSweetie was with me)..hehe Have a wonderful day/weekend!

Take Care,
Terry

Hi Terry, Glad Friday is here for you!!   You are too funny I know what you mean just being happy sitting there doing nothing with someone who is very special.  Will I be hearing wedding bells???   I hope so.  Since I work at home with the kids there really isn't a special day for me. They all go and come like a blur.   My 2 1/2 year old is very sick and he has been having 104 & 105 fever. Took him to the dr. strep test came back normal.  So they couldn't figure out why the high fever.  Then yesterday i took him back fever still at 104.7 and now with a swollen red blood shot eye.  They gave him 2 shots of antibiotics.  He has lost 1 1/2 pounds in a week and has not been able to keep food down just some liquids sometimes.  So today my husband took himback to ge tthe second shot of antibiotics and they are seeing him right this minute.  I am waiting for a call from hubby. We had a fun filled weekend planned for the kids since Gino is off but i don't see any of it happening.   I have a lot of cleaning to do this weekend since the owners want to do a walk thru on Monday afternoon.  I will not be catching up on sleep to say the least. I am exhausted! Enjoy your weekend with McSweetie.  My regards to McMom! Hugs, Enjoy your weekend! pregnant

Hey Terry! Happy weekend .. this week has gone by in a blur for me.   On Wednesday I couldn't believe 'tomorrow is already Thursday', then all day yesterday I kept wanting to make it Friday.   Today has been busy so the day has pretty much flown by too. Mr Mo is the 'late' man tonight, so I'm going home to Lefty and his howling for food!!!  I am thinking I might do some sewing while I have the machine working (after last weekend's fiasco of breaking a needle the first time I used the machine).   I made one of my bean bag things that we will use in setting up the diecast display we put on the dash of the RV when we go to NASCAR-ing and I need to get the 2nd one made.  Then I have my quilt project for the RV to get going too.   I may be too ambitious for this evening and I should just concentrate on getting that 2nd beanbag made. No huge plans to speak of for the weekend.  I think if we wake up on Sunday and it's a nice day we may head to the Nats/Mets game at RFK.   I have a racing chat buddy from the Richmond area who's coming up to the game and we keep talking about getting together so Sunday might present that opportunity. Enjoy your time with McSweetie!   Two weeks is a LONG time. Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

I'm late, but going to reply anyway!  Terry, I'm so happy that you and McSweetie are going strong.  I'm guessing that he might be a keeper?  Today I'm taking my daughter and her friend to Arundel Mills Mall.  Hoping that it's not going to be too chaotic.  We're going to see "Stardust" in the theatre, then I'm letting them loose on the Mall.  I'm bringing along a book, and plan to stake out a seat in a restaurant, sip on a drink (decaf tea) and nibble on an appetizer (WLS friendly of course!).  That sounds ideal to me.  Read and relax.  Tomorrow, delivering cabinets and a refrigerator to my bro-n-laws house in Montross VA.  Hoping that the weather will be good for the trip.  Cira, sorry that little Gino is feeling bad.  Keep us updated.  Mo, sounds as if you have a good weekend planned.  Whose your favorite racer??  Curious minds want to know.  I would love to see your quilt when you're done with it.  Wish I had the patience for sewing.  At band camp this week, one of the mom's is heading up making the colorguard flags.  It's a huge amount that she has to sew.  The material is silk!  I want to volunteer so badly, but petrified to work on that fabric.  Afraid that I'll screw it up somehow.  Believe I'll stick with the website updates and bake sales.  The fabric is just too expensive and beautiful for me to get my hands on.  Everyone have a great weekend! Hi Traci, I missed you at the meeting the other night. I had the books there for you.   Just wanted to let you know that I will shoot you a personal email.   Little Gino is on the mend today!  Thank God!!  But now it is Big Gino's turn. He had a high fever a pounding headache and a reb blod shot eye just like his son he had to leave work early and was home by 8pm.   I am afraid to get sick because if I do. I know I will be dead meat  and not be able to take care of my kids and grandbaby.  I am surprised my grand daughter has not caught it yet.   Girl keep your fingers crossed for me.   Have fun at arundel mills I hope your daughter has a great time. Call me if you read this maybe I can pass by and take you the book. 410-674-8614 home  301-503-6795  cell. hugs, Cira

Just got this, so a day late responding.  Sorry that the bug is creeping about your house.  Your right - hopefully it stays away from you.  I'm pretty sure I'll be at the next meeting.  Thanks for offering to drop the book by the mall.  We had a blast there.  Had two additional kids with us.  Saw "Stardust" at the theatre, ate at Chevy's, and shopped til we dropped.  The kids love that place.  Have a great Sunday and hope every recoops real quick.
