Quietly lurking!
Good Morning,
I have just been lurking for a while. Am in a holding pattern, awaiting an appeals decision from BCBS. (Mind you, I have "omitted the CAREFIRST from the BCBS!!!!) I swear this could take years and cost thousands of lives!!!!
I was hoping someone might have a good contact in the "Appeals Department" I have called soooo many times and been forwarded back and forth to so many different departments, and been fed an enormus amount much "crap" that I don't know where to turn. I have been in contact with the surgeons office via email, but I think she is toooo busy to make the continous phone calls to BCBS. A month has gone by, and I can't even get a "Contact Person". No one knows where the claim is or who is reviewing it. It is infurating that the boundaries of HIIPA are now so much out of contol that even the "actual" person can't get any information on themselves!!!
If anyone has a good contact person or telephone number, (Other than Member Services) that number is a crock!! I will happily recommend them for Saint-hood!!!
