Plastic Surgeon Recommendations

Any recommendations for plastic surgeons in Maryland.  I did have a dr. tell me only to go with someone who has reconstuctive work experience. Anyone successful in getting insurance to help cover it even in part?  vicky

I am going back to get my implants in October, as I had some complications and am trying to get my iron levels back up . But to me .. and to others in VA .. he is the best . My doctor is wonderful.  My insurance company paid for the panniculectomy portion of my lower body lift.  My surgeon is Dr. Kerry Owens, she's in practice with Dr. Thomas Grace (who is also good).  Their office is in Catonsville,  Their number is  (410) 744-0900. HTH

I had my PS with Dr. Adam Basner in Lutherville, MD (just off the north side of the Baltimore beltway).  He has a LOT of experience with post-wls patients.  In fact, I first met him at one of our post-op support group meetings. I was self-pay.  I have heard that some people have been able to get insurance to pay for the panniculectomy (?!?), which is just removal of surplus skin from the belly area.  But for a tummy tuck or other stuff, it is very difficult to get coverage.
