I have found so much information on this site........it is wonderful!!!! Does anyone live in the southern MD area......I am looking for some friends who have had the surgery or are in the process of going to have the surgery for more moral support.........Thanks

I live in Gambrills which is just outside of crofton if you are not sure. I am in the process of having the surgery. I go to Weight Loss Management Program on the 27th to start the supervised dieting. My finance' lives in Dunkirk so I am down that way atleast once a week some times twice. Good Luck in your journey keep us posted.

I live in Leonardtown. Short of going to Point Lookout, that's about as SoMD as you can get. BTW, tonight is the SoMD bariatric support group meeting at the SMECO building in White Plains, MD (located on Hwy 301 between Waldorf and LaPlata). This will be my first time attending. From what I understand, the doors open at 6:30 pm and the meeting starts at 7:00. --Eric
