Good Monday Morning Everybody! So how is everyone this morning?  It was nice to wake up to the sound of rain pattering against the windows, we really need the rain.  How was everybody's weekend?  Mine was good, but it flew by (like they always do).  I actually managed to get on the elliptical trainer for about 15 minutes last night.  I could've gone longer, but it was getting late and I didn't want to be doing exercise close to getting in bed.  The other thing I noticed (as it has been quite awhile since I worked out) is that my heartrate was much lower than it used to be and I was moving fast (132 reps a minute).  I'm hoping to get in a half hour to forty five minutes this evening.  Eating/Supplements & Fluids are all going good.  McSweetie left yesterday morning for vacation.  He'll be in Florida for two weeks...I hope I can survive without him....hehe.  I told him while he was gone I was going to get back into an exercise routine.  He's offered to join the same gym I go to when he gets the clearance to exercise (he had eye surgery back in June to re-attach the retina in his eye and he recently found out that it is detaching again, so he's scheduled to go back in for surgery again later this month).  I thought that was sweet of him that way we both can get some much needed exercise and spend time together.  He's definitely a keeper.   I'm looking forward to seeing everybody at our "crab meet" (or is it "crab meat"..oh that was bad Terry, very bad) this Saturday!  Have a wonderful day!

Take Care,
Terry

Good morning Terry I've been trying to figure out exactly WHERE my weekend went myself!   I puttered on Saturday, but finally decided I would take my 20% off stuff-it bag to Old Navy and see what I could find.   I hit the clearance rack for 5 pairs of pants and a pair of flip flops and after the clearance AND my 20% I spent $18.35 total after tax.   Of course, 3 pairs of the pants are capris, so I'll have a limited time to wear them but I'll have them for next year! Yesterday we went out to Wawa to get coffee and run a few errands.   Lefty was just about out of food, so we hit Petsmart ... uhoh Best Buy is right there, so we went into Best Buy JUST to look.   I ended up splurging on a 22 inch widescreen LCD monitor for my PC.  It was on sale and I couldn't talk myself out of it.   I also picked up a couple of DVD's for our collection so when we go out in the RV over Labor Day weekend we will have some new movies to watch that we haven't seen. I pushed the incline to 9 this morning on the treadmill.   I backed the speed down to 2.8 from 3.0, but had no problem with the 9.   I even did my 5 minute cool down at 2.8 with no incline. Need to finish my protein drink here and get busy.   Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!
