Temperature Question
Hi Eric,
I actually ran a fever coming out of surgery and through the first night in the hospital. My temperature actually made more uncomfortable than the surgery .. or I was focused on feeling 'woozy' from the fever and not paying attention to the incision
I really don't have a clue as to when you should be concerned, but with my kidney stone issues, my urologist has told me to go to the ER if my temp gets over 100.4.
My suggestion would be if you are still elevated in the morning to call your surgeon's office and just touch base with them to get a handle on it.
Hugs, Mo
Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
Thanks so much for the reply. I believe my crisis is finished. My temp went up to 100.9 and it kind freaked me out because my wife was out playing horeshoes with her horseshoe league. I took some of my pain med, which does a pretty good job of putting me to sleep and rested for an hour. When she go home a few minutes ago, we took my temp again and I was 98.6.
I can't explain the fluzuation except that I was pretty busy today. I had my first post-op shower and my wife took me out for a haircut earlier today. I figured that was a lot for just having surgery two days ago.
