A few of my incisions healed like "hard little balls" after my surgery.  I'm happy to report that since I've had the LBL and they moved the skin lower, all my "little balls" have disappeared! I don't think you have anything to worry about as long as the incisions are not painful or red (exhibiting signs of an infection).   I have not personally had a hernia, but I would think that the area of swelling associated with a hernia and the pain associated with a hernia would be larger and cover a broader area than the lap scars.   Did your surgeon check out your incisions when you visited?  I'm sure if there was something amiss they would've addressed it.

Take Care,
Terry

Hi Bonnie, My incision got a little red around it and felt warm.  I kept my eye on it and it went away. Dr Roe checked it on my next appointment and it was fine. Maybe the top of the incision is just scabbed over more then the rest of it or maybe a little more scar tissue forming under it. I would not worry too much. If it changes or you are really concerned, just call Dr Roe's office, they are always ready to answer any questions I have. Take care, Wanda
