Good Morning Everybody! So how is everyone?  I'm doing pretty good here.  I got in to work early today since I need to leave by 2:00pm for my annual checkup with the WLS surgeon. 

How goes the fluids, eating, protein and supplements?  How about exercise?  I'm doing good on all counts but the exercise (I want to get a week back at work under my belt before doing the elliptical for a week or so and then getting back to the gym after that). Things are hopping here at work.  I'm not sure that I'll have a chance to get back on here before leaving for the day. Have a Wonderful Day!

Good morning Terry Today was day 2 of 4:15 a.m.  with the plan of getting an extra 15 minutes at the gym.   I didn't quite make it, but I did 2 rounds on the total body circuit then 7 minutes on the cross ramp.   The cross ramp kicks my butt cardio wise.  I need to get a handle on my heart rate with it ... the rate tends to go WAY up and I'm not really comfortable with that.  No pain, but I don't want to be gasping either!! I've got some extra time this morning (though I'll probably still end up late).   Have a meeting at Riva at 8:30 so I am headed there instead of the office at 7:30.   I've mixed up my protein shake and I'll pour it over ice in a sippy cup to take with me to the meeting.   I'm glad it's 'sort of cooler' this a.m.   Hopefully, my lunch will survive sitting in the truck for an hour while I'm in the meeting!!!   I might need to look for a cooler for it just in case. I am not so sure this 4:15 a.m. thing is a good idea!   It's going to be rough sitting through this meeting without falling asleep.   I have enough problems with meetings without being sleep deprived.  It doesn't help that I had trouble falling asleep last night  ... and then slept fitfully!!! Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!
