Good morning all!!!    Happy Monday!  (ok, maybe not happy Monday .. but once we get through today it will be Tuesday already!) Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.   We made our trip to Hagerstown Speedway on Saturday.   It was a nice ride out there and we had a pleasant afternoon (we got there about 2) sitting outside the RV in the sun reading a book and watching the cars pull in.   There were a fair number of campers there.   This was a 'tour' event for the World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Models so I think there were more folks like us that came for the show than maybe for a regular Saturday night.   The downside to a dirt track is well . the dirt!   Even though I think that I've gotten the RV clean I know that I'm going to be touching surfaces and finding them 'gritty' for a while.  That dust gets in to EVERYTHING.

I played with the new sewing machine a little bit on Friday evening and on Saturday a.m before we left for Hagerstown.   There's going to be a whole lot of practice going on before I attempt anything important!!!! The clock was pushed back to 4:15 a.m. this morning to give me time to run Mr Mo to his car before I went to the gym.   I'm going to try to leave it at 4:15 and see if I can squeeze another 15 minutes into my gym time.  I'd really like to try to do 45 minutes of cardio on cardio days .. and try to get a little cardio in on the strength training days. I'm starting back up with my supplement routine too.  I've been fine with my Flintstones vitamins (and my calcium which I've not taken for about 6 wks) but I've got a B Complex and a B-12 that I am going to start taking and I'm going back on the Glucosamine.   I am really feeling the arthritis in my hips and I know the Glucosamine will help that.  I'm hoping that it will help my hands too .. but not really sure!!! Have a wonderful Monday! Hugs, Mo P.S.  On top of having woken up obscenely EARLY on Saturday a.m.  I took a tiny nap on the way to Hagerstown and still managed to stay awake til the END of the racing (I did start to drift .. but got a second wind).  I think I was up til almost 1 a.m. on Sat night and slept in til about 7:30 Sunday.

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

Hi Moie - Wow!  Sounds like you had a busy/fun weekend!  Mine was okay - K still wasn't feeling up to snuff with her ear infection, so we didn't do quite what we had planned.  The good news is that after 4 months of her suffering, the crud has mysteriously vanished off of her face!  I'm so glad, she was afraid she was going to go to middle school looking like a leper! Today is my sweet B's 8th bday - we'll celebrate tonight with cake, ice cream cake and, of course, presents.  He's so excited he can't stand it!  I bet he had my brother up at 5!!!!

Well, not much going on, just gotta work on a farewell luncheon I'm putting together for the end of August.

Hope you have a great day!  See you at the picnic! Tia

Hey Tia! That's great news about K's 'crud'.  I'm glad that is going better for her now.  Hopefully, her ear will get in line soon and she will be back up to her old self. Wish you could be planning my 'farewell' luncheon!   I'm on the countdown .. August 1 it will be 4 1/2 years til retirement .. but who's counting .  I love my job but there are days when I would love to be doing something different.

Have a fun day.

Hugs, Mo
