Home! And sooo glad to be...
I tried to post this early this morning, but evidently the site was down. I finally got discharged late yesterday afternoon. Got home around 6:30, and boy was I glad! As soon as I got home, was able to have some Unjury, and sit in my La-Z-Boy I was reborn!
I didn't have a great experience at Bayview. I'll not rag on them here on the forum, cuz I know that many have had wonderful care there. However, if you're interested I'll put the details on my profile later. Suffice it to say that there's no place like home. I'm feeling surprisingly good today. I just have to remember to keep getting those teeny tiny meals every hour and remember to drink my water.
Thank you all for your love and support. It was so nice to come back and see all those well-wishes hanging out there for me! You're the best!!!
XOXO,
Elaine

Hey Lainey!
Welcome home. Best wishes for a very speedy recovery!

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
Hi Lainey,
Glad to see you are home and your surgery evidently went well. Sorry to hear that you didn't have a good experience at the hospital. Make sure you tell Dr. S and Pat Jordan. All that aside, how are you feeling? I remember when I first got home, I slept in my recliner chair for close to a month. They are great for recovery! Take care and take it slow.. . . . . you are on your way!! Let us know if we can help in any way!
