Frederick MD Area Support groups

New to area looking for a group.

Thank you. I did find one inf Frederick.  i use to go to Westminster and the St. Agnes one in Baltimore.  The St. Agnes one is a great one to go to very large crowd. Thank You for the feedback!! PEACE

I think FMH (Frederick Memorial Hospital) had a bariatric support group through their wellness center at the FSK Mall (the mall near routes 85 and 270)  It's pretty rural out here... I live on the far north side of town and work in Downtown Frederick. Let me know if you ever want to talk....

Hi. I live in Cumberland and don't know of any support groups west of Balto unless Frederick Memorial has one like batting said. This board and once a month to Bayview is my support. Nice to meet you

Dave Gede and I have been working to form a Carroll County group and would love to have you join us. It may be a bit of a trek for you though.  We met in the end of June in Westminster, our next meeting is Wed. Aug. 1, from 7 - 8 at the North Carroll Branch of the Carroll County Public Library. I will be posting a link to directions to the library later today on the thread called "Carroll County Group".  Drop me an email if you have any questions. The only support groups that I am aware of are located in the Baltimore are. The closest one to you would be the one held in Westminster. Others are held at the hospitals that perform the surgery as well as one in Crofton, Md.  I am not able to attend the group meetings. This forum as well as the site is my support group. Personally, it is very satisfying for me.  Good luck!
