Just got back.....

from my last weigh in appt. Since I have started in February I have only lost 3.5 lbs. I guess I still have a chance to drop a few before my surgery. Anyway Kathy was submitting my paperwork and I was told to wait until I hear from them about approval. I got to talk to DVR today and he said there should not be any problem with authorization and I would probably get scheduled for September. So I am rather excited today and cannot wait until I hear something. Wouldn't it be nice if I could at least have a date by the picnic? Love you guys...Gail

Hi Gail - That's great!!!  And don't say you "only lost 3.5 lbs.," wouldn't you rather lose only that than gain it?  Think of it that way!!  Or, play mind games with yourself and say, "Wow!  I've lost almost 4 pounds!!"  Sounds silly, I know, but try it!! I'm glad DVR reassured you; he's a gem!!! Hang in there, you'll be posting with a date very soon! Tia

I've actually had no problems with the staff. I am a good little girl and just do what they tell me. I make no waves....sometimes not a good thing. Although, I have seen some things not going to well with other patients and Claudia. I'm not really sure what her role is but she doesn't have much patience with the patients. Gail
