Well, it's 11 a.m., and Elaine was expecting to get in by 9 a.m.  She should be just about out of the OR by now.  If anyone hears anything, please post.

I know from personal experience that 9:00 in Bayview speak means that you'll be lucky if you're under by 9:30.... I had a 9:30 start time (one of the last of the 10 OR's going that morning; can you say full house?) and i think they were just wheeling me back to the OR just after 9:30. I remember the anesthic interns conversing about when they could put me under but the head anesthesiologist was not there in the room yet so they weren't allowed to.  After i got the or, they move you over to the other table and line your body up and tape you down and stuff which takes a little time too. ~K
