Good Tuesday Morning Everybody!
Good Morning!
I was up early (I've developed a bad habit of sleeping in since I've been recuperating) and thought I'd give everybody a "shout out" this morning. So how is everyone? I'm doing well here. I go for bloodwork today for my 2 year WLS check up next week.
As for my LBL, things are progressing nicely. I have some residual numbness and slight soreness, but it's tolerable. :-)
Eating wise I'm doing good. I haven't been able to exercise up to this point, but I'm going to start working out on the elliptical trainer within the next week and get back to the gym within the next few weeks. I want to lose about 20-25 more lbs so that I can say I'm in the normal range when it comes to my BMI. Right now I'm still classified as "Overweight". That being said, I'm not sure that I'll ever been in the normal range because as a former MO person, my bones are heavier and more dense than someone who has never been MO. I've been trying to research to get a figure for how many lbs that would equate to so that I could add it to my "ideal" weight. So far I have not found any information that put an actual number (or percentage) to the additional bone weight. Even if I do not lose another lb, I'm thrilled with what WLS has done for me and I'm happy where I'm at.
Well, I gotta run - have a great day!
Terry,
Good morning! Nice to see you posting so early and back into the sort of swing of thing
I got back to the strength training portion of my gym routine this morning with two rounds on the total body circuit. I cut back a little on the weight but I did manage two rounds. I'm looking for the 'energy' boost that the strength training seems to give me.
Have a wonderful Tuesday.
Hugs, Mo
Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
