Less than 12 hours away!
I'm so psyched!! My surgery is tomorrow (7/17) at 11 a.m.! Got my jammies and CPAP machine packed, and my tunes loaded and ready to go. I figure if I'm too sleepy afterwards to read a book, I can always stick the headphones on and drown out the hospital noises.
I'm more excited than scared. I feel like I'm in good hands with Dr. Schweitzer (thanks to the feedback from several of ya'll). However, it does give one reason for pause when the hospital asks you (twice) if you want to make out a Living Will. I did fill it out just to be safe, but I won't need to USE it...right???
Got my hubby to take my measurements tonight and he said, "Just think...tonight you're the heaviest that you'll ever be." Wow...now that's HEAVY!!

Best wishes for an uneventful surgery and a very speedy recovery!

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
Hi Lainey,
Welcome to the loser's bench! Wishing you a speedy recovery. Let us how you are doing when you get a chance.
Hugs,
I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
