No hesitation ....

Good morning When the clock went off at 4:30 this a.m. I didn't even hesitate a moment, my feet hit the floor and I was on my way! 30 minutes on the treadmill @ 3.0 mph with an incline of 8 and a 5 minute cool down and I was done and on my way home.    Mr Mo's off to Frostburg today and has to stay over tonight.   Tomorrow morning will be a test to see if I actually get up and go do my work out or sleep in!  Right now sleeping in looks like a very attractive option, but once the workout thing gets in my blood I feel guilty when I miss one of my regular days. I started trying to sift through the piles on my desk yesterday and get some sort of plan going on how to procede with several projects I've got going.  Today will be more of the same since I didn't get it worked out yesterday! TGIF though!!!  I am definitely ready for a weekend. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

MO you are an inspiration (under my breath I say show off heheh)   I have my state of the art treadmill sitting in my living room and cant seem to make myself get up to use it. Everynight I set the alarm 30 minutes early & say 30 minutes is no big deal....& then every morning hit it snooze button....Man I wish I could just get back to my routine. I was walking the school track 4 miles every morning until aug 2005 when I got laid up from a brown recluse spider bite...just cant seem to get up early anymore. YOU KEEP TRUCKING!!!!  Diana!! It took me FOREVER to get with the exercise thing until I finally joined Big Vanilla last November.   Better late ( 2 1/2 plus years post op) than never.   I got into a routine over the winter of getting to the gym every morning.  I was doing great until the kidney stone/stent/lithotripsy got to me.  It's been hard to get back to it but I'm hoping I'm on the path.  I hate the idea that I lost a month at the gym that I paid for! How about 30 minutes on the treadmill at night instead of in the a.m. ?  I am not sure if I had a treadmill at home that I would be so good at using it.   With the gym, once I'm there I don't have a problem working out but if I was home I am sure I would find other distractions. Good to see you posting again. Hugs, Mo
