Lithotripsy over

Well, I had the lithotripsy for the kidney stone yesterday. I am glad that is over. I am not in any pain from the procedure itself, but my neck and throat hurts. They said that my airway was obstructed and they had to hold my head back.  Hopefully, the stone is blasted into small pieces and it will pass on its own. I go back in three weeks for a follow-up and see if the stone has changed.  I'm going to go drink, drink, drink. Have a great day everyone. Wanda

Wanda, Glad that is over for you!   I go back for another KUB on the 19th and have an appointment at 8 a.m. on the 20th to see how my 'fragments' are doing.   I may still end up with another round of lithotripsy, but that remains to be seen. Keep those fluids going!   I'm pretty good with getting my fluids to begin with but I am finding that in this warmer weather by the time I get to the office at 7:30 I've gotten at least 1 if not 2 16 oz bottles of water into me so I'm on my way for the day!

Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!
