Back to the gym

Good morning all !!! Well, despite sleeping badly (my hip kept waking me up) I did drag myself out of bed at 4:30 a.m. to go to the gym.   When the clock went off my inclination was to ignore it and I tried for a minute or two then realized if I put it off today it would be that much easier to put off again tomorrow .. etc .. and I would REALLY be in trouble. It's been just about a month since my last trip to the gym so I started slowly this a.m.    Keeping in mind that on a good day I have at most 45 minutes to spend and I didn't make it there til almost 5 to 5, I did the treadmill on 0 incline for 30 min (plus 5 minute cool down) @ about 3.2 mph.   Not sure if I'm going back to the weights tomorrow or stick with the treadmill for a few more days while I work back into the m-w-f / t-th routines. Yesterday was a light day.  We went out to Sam's Club about 1 to do some shopping then just came home and relaxed in the AC.   Yesterday wasn't a day to hang out in the RV in the driveway Back to the office 'grind' this morning.   I'm sure I'll be busy and now that I'm feeling so much more lively I'll be more productive too. Have a wonderful Monday! Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

Work back to your routine at a pace you can handle sweetie. Don't overdo as you still have those stones in there.

Hi Aime, I'm taking it slow but need to get back into the routine before I totally lose it. I was glad I was in such good 'shape' cardio wise going into the whole stone episode. Hugs, Mo

Mo, you are true motivation.  Hubby and I have been working out on our home gym.  He more religiously than I.  He's lost 12 lbs.  I shy away from scales, but am feeling darn good with tightening in areas.  Keep up the good work and keep on motivating us.  I'm getting ready to head to the bus lot - yuck!!  Yesterday kicked my butt with the heat.  May today go a bit better.  Have a great day! Hey Traci, I can't imagine driving a school bus in this heat!   Think of it as a sauna and make you'll 'sweat' some pounds off?? Hugs, Mo P.S.  Great thing on the home gym!  I would love for Mr Mo to work out with me, but he's a potato!!!
