Anyone Else Ready for this Weekend!!!
I am so ready for a few days off from life. things have been in just way too much turmoil lately. I have been feeling really good. More energy and desire for things then I have expereinced over the past couple of months. The work stress has reduced a great deal. I do know my supervisor wants me to stay at the office for the summer to run the office. I think that means she is pleased with how I have managed the office over the last several months.
I had my dose of fireworks???? on the 4th. "Do It Yourself Girl" made an appearance and tried to repair the chain things in the toilet. As I turned the water off to the toilet, the whole pipe came with it. I had water gushing all over my 2nd floor. I managed to get the water to the house turned off before too much damage took place. Someone that was here also ran upstairs and started soaking water with every towel I had in the house. It too****il yesterday around 7:30 PM to get the water back on. I washed the towels, ran the dishwasher from the BBQ I didn't particpate in due to being flooded, and took a nice long hot shower.
I found the perfect aerobic exercize. It is called running up and down 2 flights of stairs for "Turn the water on! Turn the water off!" for 2 days. I fell into bed last night. I dont think a freight train could have woken me.
I started to paint my new office (son's old bedroom) so that I hope to have it ready to move things into sometime in the next week. It is looking great. Amazing how a fresh coat of paint makes thins seem nicer.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!!!

The love of my OH Family has me humbled!!!!
I'm definitely looking forward to the weekend! These funky weeks always throw me off schedule. Mr Mo's got the 'late' shift tomorrow and I'm meeting a co-worker for a late lunch/early dinner before we head to DC to the Tim & Faith concert at the Verizon Center.
I am thinking (right now) that I'm going to try a trip to the gym in the a.m. but I need to factor in a nap so that I'll be sure to stay awake for the show tomorrow night.
Need to make a shopping list for Sunday because I'll need to run to Sam's for sure to pick up a few things.
Have a great weekend!
Hugs, Mo
Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
Hey Aime! Tonight I took Mom to dinner, tomorrow I'm taking her and dad to breakfast, then it's back to my house with Mom to go to a fellow wls buddies house for a Tastefully Simple party. Saturday night me, floyd and Kylie are going to a friend's house to play cards and for the kids to play. We'll set off our fireworks we couldn't do on the 4th thanks to the rain. Sunday Floyd is doing a family day at the Edgemere Moose so I'll take Kylie there for some fun and I plan on having a crab cake from their concession stand. My band is pretty tight right now (fill from last week kicked in plus I started my cycle which makes me tighter) so I hope to be able to actually eat the crab cake!
