It's out

The evil stent is GONE!!!!   I'm a bit sore feeling probably residual irritation from the stent and the procedure to remove it, but I do feel MUCH better already.   The pressure and discomfort is gone.   Before the doctor removed it, he made sure that I knew that I still have sizable fragments in my kidney that have not passed and that it was going to be PAINFUL when they start moving.   I completely understand that part, but I'm willing to take my chances to have my life back! Hopefully I'll be back to posting gym updates soon. Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

I am so glad that it is finally out and soon you will be back to your own perky self. How did they remove it? I am curious.   Hugs

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

It was removed with a cystoscopy procedure.   Once the stent was located with the cystoscope he 'hooked' it and told me to take a DEEP breath and he pulled it out.   There's some irritation, but I think that will be minimal after the other discomfort. Hugs, Mo

Mo,  Thank goodness!!!   I will think postive thoughts that the remaining nasty stones pass by like a breeze. Enjoy the rest of your day. Wanda

Good to hear that things went well and your stent is gone!  Hopefully, the soreness won't last long.

Mo, I'm glad to hear that your stent is out (like you wanted).  I hope when the fragments start moving, they don't cause undue pain :-) Have a great, (stent free) weekend! Take Care, Terry
