We are taking Kylie 8/22 (Baysox) which is a Sunday and they have fireworks that night, not sure if that's a normal thing for Sunday or a special thing. It's also football appreciation night??? we are to wear our favorite football clothes! That should be interesting. We are diehard Ravens fans going to a baseball game down in Redskin country! hehehe

Heather, It's unusual for a Sunday game to be at night, generally the Sunday games are at 1:05 or 1:35. The fact that it's a Sunday evening probably is reason enough for the fireworks! Believe me, we live down this way and see just as much Ravens stuff as Redskins stuff so you will probably be ok in your Ravens gear!!! Have a great time. Hugs, Mo

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!

I LOVE minor league games... It's so much better when they drop the ball all the time and can't catch worth a darn... In wmspt, pa where i used to live we had one team that stunk so bad one season...the whole stands would heckle the entire game and route for the opposite team...That was the best crowd season for me. (of course tickets were always free from someone at those games) I'm partial to a Keys game of course but Baysox would be ok too.. Keys have fireworks on following dates: July -Fri 13th, Sat 14th, fri 27th, sun 29th Free cap promo on Sat 28th game. August - Fri 3rd, sat 4th, fri 17th, sat 18th Reg prices are $8 general admin, $9 200 level, $11 field level seats, (it's not a big stadium so any level would be ok) If we have a group of at least 15- we can get $6 adults/$4 kids for general admission. I can take care of getting the tickets if we have that much interest since i live close by.

I have never been to a baseball game, minor or major and I want to so bad. I vote for that.

Hey guys! How about the minor league games on the Eastern Shore??? I forget the name...is that the Baysox? But.... for those of us on the Shore and dont really get to the outtings on the "other side of the bridge", it would be a nice change of pace and give us all a chance to meet.......just an idea. I can get prices and such tommorrow if anyone is interested! heather j

The Baysox are in Bowie. The Delmarva Shorebirds are in Salisbury. That is quite a trip for most of us but I'm sure you could find some takers.

Actually, I put up a post on 6/27 about getting together for crabs. I'm still going to go forward with getting a date together for that, but a baseball game sounds good to me too. We are going to take Kylie to see the Baysox on 7/22. As for the Iron Birds, they are SOLD OUT :)
