I find that distraction works, when all else fails.  With the sleeve, does overloading on protein help?  Leave the area, get busy with your hands, and try to distract your thoughts away from food.   My mantra quite often is "food ain't everything!"  You wouldn't believe how often I have to repeat this to myself.  Don't let it beat you.  Best of luck! I am sorry you are so hungry, What has your doctor told you could have ? Are you on a liquid diet? I don't know much about the gastric sleeve but I wanted to say that Traci gave you great advice.  I hope you get to feeling better soon.

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

Ok, if you get hungry, drink water or chicken broth. both will fill you up. and is the sleeve the lap band?  chew gum and start making crafts. suck on lolly pops might also work. go to a candy store and look for sugar free pops. good luck....

the sleee is a combination of both proceedures kinda. they removal 85% of the stomach but keep all the digestion the same so no vitamin defiency. my doc says stay on liquid for one more week than i get to the mush diet. i lost 19 llbs this week so i should be okay with the hunger but i didnt expect to still be hungry

I'm sorry I don't have any real answers for you, but I know that with rny, even at almost 2 years out, if I'm hungry, it's usually because I haven't drank enough.

Could that be it for you, too?

Take care,

Tia
