Comparison
Good FriPay morning!
I heard a wonderful 'quote' on the radio riding to work this morning that I want to share with y'all because I think we could all step back and think about it ... Comparison is the thief of joy! If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!! Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Mo
Hey there married lady
I'm doing well all things considered! I've been off my gym routine for a couple of weeks now with the kidney/bladder stent placement then the lithotripsy last Thursday for the kidney stones themselves. I'm READY for this to be done with!!!! The lithotripsy and the stent have really kicked my butt. I have never had a problem with energy but I'm really run down feeling by the end of my work day and I'm not enjoying that feeling. I know there is an end in sight and I'll be back in fighting form soon though.
My weight is still stable, though I would like to lose another 30 to 50 pounds. 30 is probably a reasonable goal, while 50 would make me 'normal' ... what ever 'normal' is. I need to lose the 15 or so pounds that I gained though because I have clothes I can't wear and I'm annoyed with myself over that.
Good to see you back on the board!
Hugs, Mo
