PCP help?

Ok me and my family have decided we arent really happy with our current PCP(she is kind of odd in a bad way). Do you guys have any references on good doctors? (fairly near by) I live in Bowie, Maryland!

Good Evening Dominique, I am not sure what you consider close to Bowie. However my Primary Care Doctor is in Laurel off of route 1. His name is Dr Margolis. There are several doctors in the practice and I like Dr Margolis and Dr Maggin. I have seen the Nurse prationer (sp) Her name is Marybeth and I would tell you not to see her. There office is awesome. If you are sick and call in the morning they 9 x out of 10 can see you that day. May not be with the doctor you prefer but a partner. When you sing in the wait is no more then 10 or 15 minutes if that. My whole family (mom,Dad and Brother) all go to this office. Thanks for your reply...Also how was the surgeon you chose for your surgery? He was one of the first people I looked at.

I have not had my surgery yet. I am going for a seminar on the 10th of july and then a consultation with Dr S Aug 14th. I probably will not have surgery until Jan or Feb. I have to do a 6 month supervised diet. I am going to the Bayview Weightloss program July16th to start the dieting. PLease keep me posted with your progress. Also just so that you know there is a support group that meets at the crofton library. Our next Meeting is tomorrow at 6pm. If you want more dates let me know and I will get them for you. Kellie

I use the University of Maryland family practice at Millersville (just up Rt. 3 from you).  Dr. Garcia is my doc, but there are 2 others and a lot of specialists, including Dr. Kligman, who does RNY's.  Nice people!
