Help...

Evening everyone.. For some reason I seem to be having a bout with cystitis.  It started about 3 hours ago and has gotten progressively worse. I called my PCP office to try and get something for it.  The pain is really starting to take its toll.  Last time I had it was about 16 months ago and ended up in hospital having hernia surgery. hope that isn't the case this time since I just had hernia repair along with my gastric bypass again in Dec.  The doctor called in Bactrim for the infection and Pyridium for the pain. Is it okay to take these? I know alot of meds are no- no's now so just wish to be cautious. Any help would be greatly appreiciated. I'm afraid to start the meds until I know for sure it is okay. Sorry your feeling under the weather.  I don't know enough about the meds to say yes or no, but I bet Amy or Tooter in the main board would.  Good luck and let us know what you find out. TraciL

Cherryl, I wouldn't know the answer to this but I want you to know that you are definitely in my thoughts and prayers.  I hope you feel better soon.  Please call your surgeon and ask him if that medicine will be right for you. best of luck
