Hey all. had another two week appt with my doc. I lost another 11 pounds. I love that. Because two weeks ago i gained 1 pound. But all in all I was ok to start eating more ( brown rice, toast, things like that) and to exercise more. In which I have more energy to do so. I just want you all to know that if you stick in there things will change for you. Today is my first day back at work and it's all good.

Hi everyone! My name is Tracy and I'm considering having the lap band surgery. I been fighting with my weight for years. I'm know 33 years old and have three beautiful kids I'm trying to live a long life for. I have been considering this surgery, including the gastric by-pass. I dont like all the risks included with that surgery. I would love to hear some advice on how to get started and to find a surgeon in my area, and any information you can share about your own surgery and was a it the best decision for you. I really havent tried hard enough to diet and my husband wants me to do that first. But as we all know easier said then done. Any advice from someone one would be greatly appreciated.

That is great news! I am surprised you can eat rice and toast. I still can't eat breads and I am 8 months out. I am fearful of rice. I did try a little pasta yesterday for the first time. It went well, but I could only eat about 4 bites. Keep up the great work. Aime

Hi Aime, I do good on rice but I can only eat about 2 tablespoons and I do just fine on pasta.

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

I can eat it but I don't. She said brown rice and stuff but I rather not. I will stick to the protein and veggies.
