Now it's Wednesday!!!
Gang
Ok, it REALLY is Wednesday today!!! I managed to get through yesterday with the help of a couple of lortab but it was not a really 'comfortable' day. I took 1 tab about 8 a.m. when I got to work and another about noon. They took just enough of the edge off for me to not curl up in a fetal position and want to just be miserable. I took two of the more heavy duty lortab last night about 8 and went to bed just after nine. I am only now getting to be a little uncomfortable so I may be able to make it though the time I have to spend at the office without any help, but I won't hesitate to take a lortab when I get there if I need.
Have to go for an abdominal X-ray this afternoon and take the film with me tomorrow a.m for the lithotripsy. At 1 o'clock I take a gas-ex pill and then drink the magnesium citrate at 4 p.m. and another gas-ex at 8 p.m. I am thinking I'll need to leave work by 2 in order to fit all that in.
Clear liquids after noon today to get ready for the whole thing. I have to admit, I have no trouble NOT eating solids and drinking lots .. UNTIL ya tell me I have to !!! Then it becomes a problem
Have a wonderful day y'all.
Hugs,
Mo
Hey Mo!!! Yes, it is Wednesday all day. I've missed seeing you on the forum. I'm so sorry you aren't feeling well. I hope you manage to make it through til your procedure. I won't say a word about the stuff you have to drink.
Yesterday was my 8 monthversary. I can't belive how quickly this year is flying by. I have really slowed in my weight loss. I think I need to do something to wake the tool back up. I am not unhappy with my size. I just want to at least make it to 100 lbs gone.
I saw Cira last night briefly. She is such a sweetheart. She gave me my B-12 shot. Let me tell you- that girl can stick a needle in me anyday. I never felt a thing. I told her she is now attached to me for life. I don't know if I can get the courage to do it myself. My son went with me so she demonstrated to him how to do it. I don't know if I have the courage to let him stick me with a needle either. LOL
Have a great day!!!

The love of my OH Family has me humbled!!!!
Aime,
Thanks for not saying anything about the 'stuff'. The prep nurse told me to be sure I drank it over ice that would help. We will see
It took me over a year to get to 100 pounds. I think at my one year mark I was about 92 pounds down. I think I was about 106 at 15 months. Of course, I've gone back up since then .. which doesn't amuse me .. but I'm stable and hopefully going to go back down again. Don't get too hung up on the numbers .. be happy in your skin/body and love yourself!!
I think I'm one of the 'fortunate' that has never had a b-12 shot. I really have not ever had a problem with energy from the very beginning. Of course, my 4:30 a.m. schedule does kick my butt and I'm pooped by 8 to 8:30 p.m but I think that is to be expected!!! And when I need to I can stay up later.
Uh oh , look at the time, I need to be getting dressed for work.
Hugs,
Mo
Traci, I've really not been in pain since the attack in April. This discomfort now is from the stent and that will be short term (I hope****il after they get the stones broken up and out of the right kidney. The unfortunate part (for me) is that I think they are going to repeat the process on the left side once the right kidney is done
I just took a lortab to take the edge off the discomfort. I figure I have enough time for the lortab to get out of my system before I leave to go for my X-ray. Thanks for your good wishes. Hugs, Mo
