I see what they mean when they say........

that you transfer your food addiction to something else.  I had been really ticked off since last evening.  I snacked on fruit quite a few times and this morning all I kept thinking about was eating. So I went out for a little drive and found a sale at Fashion Bug.  I spent $105.00 there I needed to spend that on something else..... Oh boy I better get to counseling before I rob a bank. This is the very first time in many many years that I enjoyed shopping.   Then I was looking for some stuff at the plus side and the lady that works there says to me... Are you shopping for someone else?  I said ummm no, just for me and she said well your size is over there not here these are the plus sizes.    Wow I couldn't believe it that she told me!! I always had people directing me to the plus sizes all the time.  I kept looking at the clothes and I kept thinking that the smaller ones would not fit. When I picked 3 capris, a skort I kept thinking nope these look too small... it took me forever to pick a size 16 and guess what other size...... 14........  When I tried the 14 capris and they fit I nearly passed out.  I see myself as big as I was when I first got my surgery.  I was crying in the fitting room and a young girl yells to her mother... Mom the lady in there is crying!! The mother kept saying what lady?  and she said the one in there trying on clothes!!  lol  I was having my own WOW moment...  It took me a little while to compose myself.  lol There were sales like buy one and get one free.  Buy three and get three free I couldn't let that pass me by since the sale ends today. Cira, I'm so happy for you!  What a WOW moment.  You're aware of the "flip" of addictions.  Just continue to be weary and look for the signs.  If you need help, go for it.  You hit a great sale and I don't blame you for making the purchases.  One shopping trip does not an addiction make.  When was the last time that you enjoyed shopping for clothes for yourself?  Too cool!! Hey Sweetie!!! I can totally relate to the transfer of addiction with shopping! LOL If it's not DVD's is now clothes!!! I went to Fashion Bug on Saturday and lemme tell you....I wound up spending $250.00 on clothes, shoes bras, and jewlery! It was honestly the BEST shopping expericence I have had in YEARS! I automatically went to the Plus Size side and my best friend said....NO! You don't need that anymore! I looked at her like she was crazy but said OK....lemme look at the other stuff. Girl....every thing I tried on was a large or extra-large in tops and the capris I bought were in 12's and a cute pair of white capris that were extra-large! Maybe I shouldn't have spent so much but I'm at the point I really NEED stuff so to me it was totally worth every penny! I do want to go back becuase that is a totally amazing sale! It really is a big WOW moment in the dressing room when you are trying stuff on that to your eyes and mind looks so small then you realize it FITS!!! My best friend had tears she is so happy for me! Of course she had me showing her everything I was trying on!!! LOL It was actually a lot of fun shopping for clothes and I never thought I would say that!!! Did you ever think you would cry in a dressing room for things being small and fitting? I didn't either but darn it was a nice feeling!!!! I am so happy for you and that you got to do that!!!! Cira I am so proud of you! You are doing terrfic. I hope I get my surgery date this week. I would like to be shopping like that. I hate shopping right now. I just catalog order. I  Never go in and try them on!
