OT: Very Very Happy

As most of you know I started my daycare and the process to find kids to fill it up. Well calls after calls and scheduled interviews that resulted in no shows (I cant believe how rude some people are that they cant even call and cancel) Then last monday I got a call for a 7 week old and well long story short they called the next day after the interview and loved me and wanted to sign her up. I was so excited my first one and a baby at that, my favorite. Well she started yesterday and I have to say I have never loved a job like this one. She is so much fun. I also notice I do not snack alot since she is here I guess that is because I am busy now...lol. Just wanted to share my happy news with everyone. Hope you all are having a great day

Sorry, Kell, but we leave for OC the following weekend and I'll have LOTS to do.  Plus, we have a membership to the zoo, and while the kids usually love it, they were disappointed last time - no prairie dogs, flamingos, tigers, hippos or birds.  It seems as if the zoo is constantly undergoing renovation and while they say they don't have any $$, I think the fees for non-members are kind of high.  JMHO!!!!

But anyway, hopefully, we'll get together soon!  I know I need to get my $$ to you for the picnic - Mom, KB and I will be there.

Awwwww I am so happy for you.  Enjoy the baby!!  I am glad you are not snacking since she keeps you busy.  If I was working I would bring my kids to you because you are a wonderful loving woman.  I never trusted anyone with my kids before. I left a great job at Verizon with an awesome salary plus commission to stay home with my baby.  Sometimes I wish I was still at Verizon but the safety of my children is my priority.  I have re applied so many times and nothing yet. But man if you have a n opening and I get called I will definitely take you and my children's nanny. Thanks Cira you are so sweet. If you ever go back to work and i have an opening i would love to take the kids. They are so cute and funny. Yes I love that she keeps me busy so I do not snack. That has been an issue since I have been not working but I knew once I started working again it would get better and it has since yesterday. We changed the date of the zoo it is that sunday instead. July 1st. I hope you guys can go still. It will be a blast for the kids. Hope you are having a great day and hope to see you Thursday night at the library. Our meetings are so close since I added the few new ones

Hi Kell, Well, I will always be grateful for good daycare. Although my son is now 16 and a few years out, his provider was amazing and taught him much. I can still remember and could never figure out the little dynamo coming home cleaner than he left and we still keep in touch with her. Sounds like you are on your way to a bustling rebuild. There is no more difficult workout than caring for a little one. Mark
