RNY Patients of Schweitzer!!!!!

Hi Violet, Don't be nervous, as some of us don't even have a date yet. By the time that happens, you'll be a huge loser. Good luck and know that you will be in my thoughts.....now THAT ought to scare ya!  :) ^5's Mark, who had to give the dog all the Twizzlers this weekend so he wouldn't eat the whole bag himself.

Good Job MARK!!!  I told my NP that my dog is getting fat and hubby and I are getting thin (he gets a lot of leftovers).  She said that is common with wls patients! hehehe

Violet, all of us post op people have been where you are right now.  It is all NORMAL.  You just hang in there, everything will be fine.  I don' t know of anyone who would take their wls back.  One of the ladies here had a bit of trouble post op (Cira Saget - not a Schweitzer patient) but she said she'd never take it back regardless of the bump in the road she had (doc nicked her spleen).  She is doing SO GREAT!  Keep up with your pain meds so the pain doesn't get ahead of them.  Take YOUR pillow with you.  Call the nurse as much as you want.  You're paying for this, not them!  Kenny will be there waiting for you when you get out.  I'll be waiting for my call :)

Okay, so I emailed her days ago and still nothing.  Doesn't she know she's supposed to drop everything and respond back to me ASAP???!!!!  Jeez!!!!  Some people!!!! Lip, Tia

I  saw Dr Schweitzer today and he was in a very good mood.  violet - I was so scared when I had my surgery six months ago, I thought I would never get thru it.  But, I did it with a lot of support of my buddies here and it wasn't as bad as I expected.  Once you get thru the surgery, you will laugh out loud for being so nervous.  He is such a good doctor, he has a world wide reputation, he teaches other docs on the procedure, he would never let anything happen to you.!!    Good luck honey, keep us posted on your progress!!! 

Sorry I missed this but I see on another post that you are on the losers bench now!! YEAH!! Dr. S is awesome!! :)
