Oohhhhh Tammy I am so sorry  that you are in so much pain.  Foot surgery is no joke and especially what you got done.  I feel for you girl.   Big hgs to you....l I had minor toe surgery to kill the corner of my ingrown toe nail and I have complained since I had it done on the 23rd, throbbing, pain and so freakin sore.  But from now on I will think of you and pray that you heal better quickly I have nothing compared to you. Congratulations on not smoking for 8 days!!!  Wow how did you do it?  I am so very proud of you.  I wish you lived near I would definitely go by to see you.   Call me if you need to chat. Hugs,

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

Those darn feel will make our entire bodies feel like crap when they hurt. I have had foot surgeries a couple of time. I'll opt for the recovery pain over the cause of the pain anyday however.  I'm proud of you for not smoking. Must help not bein able to walk to get a smoke ( one smoker to another humor there ) I've always thought if they drugged me for the detox time period and then put me in a straight jacket I would maybe be able to stay smoke free. Keep up the good work!!! Aime

Tammy...you poor girl. I never had surgery on my feet but I'll tell you, my feet hurt all the time. My father had bad feet also. I am hoping when I get to the loser's side it might help my feet. I also quit smoking 2 years ago last October. I stopped because I was in the hospital having 2 knee replacements. I just continued to stay off cigs after that. Keep your *****I mean feet) up and soon you'll be up dancing around.      Love, Gail

hi everyone. thanks for the well wishes. today i feel a little better. still in pain but not to bad.  as for the smoking, i just got it in my head that i needed to quit before the foot surgery and that i had to be smoke free for the wls. i have not smoked in 9 days. and it is not easy when i live with a smoker. i put a no smoking sign up on our door so the people who come to visit  won't smoke but he (the bf) refuses to go outside to smoke. i think that is really inconsiderate on his part.  oh well it just shows me how much will power i have when he lights in the middle of the night with me laying beside him. it doesn't bother me that much. well gotta get my feet back up they are starting to throb since i have them down. talk soon. love tammy

Hey there Tammy, I am so glad to read that you are feeling better today.  I am so proud of you girl keep doing great!!  I am sorry your BF is niot being cooperative.  It is never easy to quit when you have someone smoking in front of you.   I hope he realizes soon that he is not being considerate at all. Take care a rest a lot.   I hope you get to feeling better really soon.  When do you go to GBMC again?   Hugs,

Ouch!!  Hope your recovery speeds up and your pain level goes down.  Best of luck!  That is great news on being "smoke free".  What an accomplishment.  You're on a roll now, don't backslide.  My thoughts and prayers are with you. TraciL
