Hair Loss
Hey Bobbie -
Well, maybe you've lucked out. My hair loss started at about 3-4 months out and continued until I was about 6-7 months out. I have thin hair to begin with, but right from the beginning, I decided that I would rather be thinner with thinning hair than fatter with fatter hair, and I just wasn't going to stress about it.
DVR and Dr. Moen said that it's indicative of not enough protein, but I challenged them on that, because I've always gotten the minimum amount, and usually more than enough, although not excessive. Others say it's from the stress of the surgery, but who knows?
Anyway, I don't think anyone's ever gone bald, but consider yourself lucky. As long as you're being compliant with everything, I wouldn't worry.
Take care,
Tia
Hi Bobbie, I will be three months out on the 6th of June and I am already seeing a lot of my hair falling off. I am praying that it doesn't get too bad. You are ver fotunate! Hugs,

My hair started to look awful about 3-4 months out. I will be 8 months soon and my hair loss has decreased alot. I was able to get special shampoo and conditioner to help the loss. Nioxin. I also ended up cutting my hair. It does end and it does grow back.
