Good Morning Everybody - I've Missed You All!

Good Morning Everybody! Okay, so maybe I've put a tad bit more enthusiasm in my greeting than I'm actually capable of feeling right now, but it is good to be home and be able to sit up and log in to the computer and I have missed you all.  It's been a little bit of a rough ride, but I'm doing pretty good.  I know the big question for most folks is "how bad was it?"  Well the LBL surgery was over 8 hours and the recovery has been a little worse than Laproscopic RNY (as I expected), but was not worse than I thought it would be.  I'll get into more details later, but just wanted to let you all know that I'm home and doing great. I can't sit on my butt for too long and I'm a little spacy from the pain meds, but I wanted to at least log in here and let you all know I'm alive I'll log in again soon. Have a wonderful day!

Hi Honey!!! Soooo glad you made it through everything relatively unscathed!!!  McSis and McMom were good about keeping me updated, and I, in turn, tried to update everyone here when my 'puter wanted to cooperate.   I'll be anxiously awaiting ALL the details, but suffice it to say that I'm glad the pain wasn't any worse than you expected.  I haven't called because I know when you're feeling bad, the last thing you want do to is talk on the phone.  Call me if you need anything, or whenever you feel like chatting.

I'll be off on Friday for KB's spring festival, but other than that, I'm here at work!!!!

Hi Terry!  So great to see you post.  I am glad you are able to report that the recovery isn't as bad as you expected.  I can hardly wait to see the results.  You'll have to post pics, or at least email me some.  I still haven't scheduled my LBL, waiting until they get the August calendar prepared.  I should know something by the end of June at the latest.  I want to hear all about it!!!  In the meantime, take really good care of yourself, don't rush things and let us know how you are doing when you can.
