just wanted everyone......

to know that i am still around. just been busy getting all my tests done for the wls and my foot surgery for the end of the month. my cardio dr has cleared me for these surgeries. he said there is nothing wrong with my heart except for the murmur. which he thinks it isn't anything to worry about. so how is everyone doing? hope this finds everyone in good health as well as good spirits.i have 2 more tests and i will be done with all of them (i hope). still working on the smoking. i never thought it would be this hard. i guess if i didn't live with and around people that smoke it would be easier. i had to stop going to the classes because of all the testing and stuff taking up my time. maybe after i have my foot surgery i will start going again. i just need to get it in my head that if i don't quit i will not be able to have the wls. i hope once i get that thru this thick head of mine it will make it easier. ha! i am hoping for alot there. i am sitting here at the computer right now with my decafe coffee and a cigarette. well gotta go for now. hope everyone has a great weekend. take care you all. tammy

Tammy, Keep up the good work....from one smoker to another I know how tough it is! I've been going back and forth and if my surgeon knew that I had been puffing he would kick my butt!!! thanks everyone for the well wishes. will be trying my hardest and best to quit smoking. have set a date to quit on the 25th of this month just before my foot surgery on the 29th. everybody keep your fingers crossed that i can do it. have a great weekend. tammy

Girl you are definitely keeping yourself busy. Stay focus and work on quitting soon your supervised visits will beover and you need to be at least 3 months smoke free to have healthy lungs for being under anesthesia. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs, Cira
