Out of the mouths of babes......

My kids have been amazing through my 'adventure' (and my ex husband has been fantastic about keeping them while I recovered from both operations). I am a little over 2 mos out from my RNY and 55 # down (19 of it I lost pre-op). My 10 year old son came up and hugged me yesterday and put his hands on my waist. (note: I always lose there first, but the boobs, hips, and abdomen don't budge) and said "Mommy, I can really tell you are losing weight, but your butt still kind of sticks out". I just hugged him, kissed him, and said thank you. He quickly added, "no offense or anything about your butt"....

That is awsome keep up the great work. Kids are so cute and say the funniest things sometimes. Good that you ave agreat support from your ex also that is wonderful to hear.

Isn't it so special when your kids notices?? I am so happy for you. You are doing great and keep on girl!!! Glad you have a wonderful support system. I hope you had a wonderful Mother's day! Cira
