Carroll County Support Group

Does anyone know if there is a support group that meets in Carroll County? I would really like to attend one if there is.

Carol...I don't think there are any in CC. I have already checked. I even checked PA for one because I am not far from there. I am not far from Hampstead. Maybe if we could get some more people we could start one up that way. I'm sure the Crofton group would aid us in starting one.

Thanks Gail, If you are interested in getting together sometime just let me know. I know there are others in Carroll County who've had WLS so hopefully others may want to join us. I know there are a few places that we could meet so that shouldn't really be an issue. It would be great for someone from another support group to help us try to get a support group in our area off the ground. I used to live in Crofton which would have been convenient, but now I live out in Taneytown.

Ladies, I would love to join in with a Carroll County support group if we gather enough folks to meet! I have not been to any post op groups (I was back inpatient from day 12 - day 18 after surgery, and home feeling like crud for 2 weeks after that). Now that I am back to work and a "routine" I would love to make a group like this part of that routine! If there is anything I can do to help organize/plan, let me know!
