One month update
Hi all,
Well, it's been a month since my surgery. I had hope to have a little more off, but I have not really been exercising either. I am going to kick it up this month.
I have lost 22 pounds and 21 inches. I will take that over the loses I used to get for a month, pre surgery.
I have not gotten sick and nothing has gotten stuck. I can eat and drink anything I try.
Well, I haven't tried anything sugary and don't intend to for a long time.
So, that is my update. I want to thank everyone for their support.
Have a great weekend.
Wanda
WOW! Wanda, that's so great!!! You're so right to think of what you might have lost pre-op when you want to be down about 22 pounds!!! When you think of it, an average weight loss is 1-2 pounds a week - 22 pounds is fantabulous.
I'm so glad it's been uneventful for you - it does make it so much easier. Just continue to be kind to yourself, and exercise - I'm a good one to talk, but trust me, in the initial stages, it truly does help the weight to melt off. And it helps with the saggy skin, too!!!!
Keep up the good work and have a wonderful weekend!
Tia
Hi Wanda,
Congratulations! You are doing wonderful and the weight is just about right for our weight and height. I lost 20 with clothes the first 4 weeks and lost 20 1/4 inches. So you are doing great!
I am so glad that you are having a smooth journey. That is such a blessing.
Take care and I can't wait to see you soon.
Hugs,
Cira

That's wonderful Wanda -- keep up the good work. As you see the change in your body, you'll want to exercise.
Here is a website that might get you started on that exercise thing.
www.self.com. They have videos of exercises to do -- toning and strengthening and you can log your exercises in a daily log. This is good because you can keep track of your progress.
I encourage you to walk, walk, walk, and once your body change more -- I know you're smiling now -- you'll be grinning later.
