Initial Consult Changed.......

This is good news!!!! My initial consult with Dr. Averbach has been moved up to May 15...... a whole month earlier than originally planned!!!!! Yipee!!!!! Has anyone here had Dr. Averbach as their surgeon? I would appreciate any information. I have researched him on my own, but I guess I want a more personal view. Thanks and love ya all, Heather J.

Heather that is good news. I hope all goes well for you. I do not know Dr. Averbach but I would recommend seeing if he offers/supports a support group that you could attend prior to meeting him. Support groups are always very helpful. I know that I love mine. I still go every month to my support groups, unless something comes up like my kids school activities. Otherwise I do my best not to miss them. Hugs, Robin

I'm sorry Heather she had Dr Afram. I dont know what I was thinking. My mind is gone these days. I tink it was the A in the doc's name that mixed me up

Hi Heather, I didn't have Dr. Averbach as my surgeon, but did have his partner Dr. Singh. Dr. Averbach was on call the weekend I was in the hospital post- surgery and is who I saw on discharge. I have nothing but good to say of their office and them. They both are wonderful doctors. I am now a little over 4 months post-op and haven't had any problems at all since surgery.
